The Rev. Kenneth Loehrke officiated at the wedding of Miss Delores Leta Mielke and Dennis Telschow at the 2 p.m. ceremony in St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Town of Wien (Marathon Co.).

The nuptial music was provided by Mrs. Reuben Schafer, organist, and the Schafer sisters and Edward Mielke Jr., vocalists.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Mielke, Rt. 1, Edgar, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Telschow, also of Edgar.

Mrs. Craig Kanski, St. Paul, Minn. was the matron of honor, and the bridesmaids were Mrs. Myron Totzke, Marathon; Miss Dawn Telschow and Miss Denise Telschow, Edgar, sister of the bridegroom; and Miss Cathy Totzke, Edgar, cousin of the bride.

Roger Ballerstein, Wausau, cousin of the bride was the best man, and the groomsmen were Mr. Totzke and Edward Mielke Jr., Edgar, brother of the bride. Ushers were John and Aaron Totzke, and Richard and Delbert Ballerstein, all of Edgar.

The bride wore a traditional gown of sata peau with crocheted lace accenting the bodice, Venice lace appliques on the A-line skirt and a headpiece trimmed with pearls and crystals held her veil, and she carried a bouquet of yellow sweetheart roses with white carnations and Fuji mums.

The attendants wore gowns of chiffon in bishop styling, with ruffled lace accenting the bodices, matching satin ribbon at the waistlines and full shirred skirts with the matron of honor and flower girls in moss green, and the bridesmaids in orange and gold.

The senior attendants carried bouquets of bronze daisy pompons and yellow roses, and the flower girls carried baskets of flowers.

The reception, dinner and dance were held at the Rib River Ballroom.

The bride is a 1969 graduate of Edgar High School and attended the University of Wisconsin, River Falls. She is employed at the Abbotsford State Bank. The bride groom, a 1969 graduate of Stratford High School, is employed as a cheesemaker at the Frankfort Cheese Factory.
