Miss Donna Fink, former resident of Colby, has accepted the position of
principal and upper grade teacher at Zion Lutheran School in Colby. Miss Fink is
a graduate of Concordia Teachers College in River Forest, Ill.
Upon graduation, she taught grades 3 and 4 for five and one-half years in
Easton, Pennsylvania. She then received a government fellowship to attend Purdue
University, where she was responsible for over 200 college girls.
Miss Fink will replace William Wittlief, who has accepted a new teaching
position in Palatine, Ill. he wil be teaching fifth grade at Immanuel Lutheran
School. Wittlief will be in charge of the science department and assist in the
school’s athletic program.
