Army Private Robert W. Flink, 24, son of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad A. Flink, Route 2,
Colby, recently completed a 10-week Medical Corpsman course at the U.S. Army
Medical Training Center, Ft. Sam Houston, Texas.
He learned to perform routine patient care and treatment duties in combat areas,
hospital units, dispensaries, clinics and other medical facilities. He also
received instruction in the transporting of sick and wounded by ground, air and
water means.
Pvt. Flink entered the Army in November 1971and received basic training at Ft.
Polk, Louisiana.
The private is a 1965 graduate of Colby High School.
