Stoll, Barbara J. (1942? – 21 June 2021)

Barbara J. Stoll passed away peacefully June 21, 2021, at Froedtert Hospital, in Milwaukee after a long and courageous battle with Lymphoma. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Ellis Stoll in 2015, and several other close members of her family.

Although Barbara had no children of her own, she was like a second mother to many especially her cousin, Michael Jaje who lived with her and Ellis to finish high school after his mother’s sudden death. She wore many hats during her life, including her church involvement, and variety of jobs outside her home over the years. She will always be remembered as the best strawberry picker and the best pie maker. She always had a great love for birds and animals, especially her last dog, Sweetpea.

Barbara was an amazing gift to all that knew her and had a beautiful smile for everyone. She touched the lives of her caregivers during the last seven weeks of her life while at the hospital. It was a gift for her sister, Carol to be at her side almost every day during this last journey of her life. God Bless you, Barb.

Visitation and a celebration of life will be held at the United Methodist Church in Merrillan July 17, 2021, at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lymphoma Society or the United Methodist Church of Merrillan.

(Notes: Barbara and Ellis were residents of the Town of Dewhurst for many years, both attended Neillsville High School and they lived in the home that her grandparents, the Roy Iverson’s built. Her mother was Virginia Iverson Morvak. Dmk)
