Collazo, Jose’ E. Pinto (30 August 1986 – 2 July 2021)

Jose’ E. Pinto Collazo, age 34, of Medford, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday, July 2, 2021, at his home under the tender care of Hospice.

Jose’ was born on August 30, 1986, the son of Jose’ A. Pinto Rodriguez and Isidra Collazo Figueroa in Humacao, Puerto Rico. He graduated from high school and moved to Medford in 2019. He worked for a short time at Abbyland. Jose’ enjoyed playing basketball, singing in the church choir, creating music and enjoyed being with people. Most importantly, he loved being with his family.

Jose’ is survived by his mother, Isidra; six sisters and two brothers: Maria Pinto, Deborah Pinto, Rosa Pinto, Anamaris Pinto, Marta Pinto (Hunter Oemig), Wanda I. Rosa Collazo, Juan Carlos Rosa Collazo (Alicia Cornell) and Jose A. Pinto Collazo. He is further survived by his grandmother, Leocadia Figueroa, Aunts, Uncles, many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jose.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, July 5, 2021, at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford. Interment to be held at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 6 at the Abbotsford Public Cemetery.
