The Abbotsford High School graduating class of 1952 held a 20-year reunion Saturday evening, with dinner and a social hour at the Colby Hotel.

Class colors of old rose and silver were carried out in the table decorations. Small plants were given as table favors. There was a brief business meeting, at which time another reunion was planned in five years.

Class members are asked to keep in touch with the committee members and offer suggestions for the best time of year to hold the next reunion. The same committee offered to work for the next one. They are Mrs. Jerome Rankl, Mrs. Dean Hawks and Mrs. Robert Burt.

The class prophecy was read by Mrs. Dean Hawks, and the class will by Mrs. Robert Burt. Mr. Herb Juneau, former principal, reminisced with the group.

Trophies were present to: Owen Schraufnagel, most recently married; Gordon Prough, farthest distance (St. Louis, Missouri); Mrs. Florian Ahles, youngest child; Mrs. Ahles and Mrs. Clarence Wendtland, first reservations; Mrs. Hawks, Mrs. Burt and Mrs. Rankl for committee work; Bill Geary for acting as emcee. Mr. and Mrs. Herb Juneau were presented with a plant, Floyd Klemetson for playing cordovox music (from the 40’s and 50’s). Door prizes were won by Frank Beran and Dale Toelle.
