Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Nickel of Unity were married for 65 years on Monday, May 1, 1972. Nickel will be 87 on May 16th and his wife is 84. The Nickels are planning a celebration on Mother’s Day weekend with their families and grandchildren at their home.

Nickel (Nichol?), Mr./Mrs. Leonard (65th – May 1972)

On Saturday afternoon, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Nichol celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary, Mother’s Day and Leonard Nichol’s 87th birthday (which will be on May 16). A supper was held.

Those present were their children and grandchildren: Mr. and Mrs. Harold Schade, Mr. and Mrs. William Schmeck and family, Milwaukee, Mrs. Bernice Reckner, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Reckner and family, Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Reckner and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Reckner and family, and Don Kaufman, Spencer.
