Alan Becker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Becker, R. 2, Colby, was selected as the
representative for the American Legion Post No. 220 of Colby to attend the 31st
Annual Badger Boys State being held at Ripon College, Ripon, June 17-24, 1972.
The alternate named is Bill Neitzel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Neitzel, R. 1,
Colby. These two boys, members of the junior class at Colby High School, were
selected by the faculty for their scholastic Standing, leadership, character and
participation in extra curricular activities.
