Miller, Peggy Lynn (7 May 1983)

First Presbyterian Church was the setting May 7 for the wedding of Miss Peggy Lynn Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald W. Miller. 1312 N. Wood Ave., and Jeffrey Scott Lavey, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Lavey, Granton.

The Rev, Virgil E. Taylor of Marshfield and the Rev. Lawrence B. Berger of La Crosse, former Catholic pastor and Columbus instructor in Marshfield, officiated. The bride was given in marriage by her father during nuptials for which Mike Bletsoe played the organ and Mark Lavey, the guitar.

The bride had a white satin crepe and lace gown in Queen Anne design and a bouquet of yellow roses, white daisies and pompons with baby's breath.

Her aides were Mrs. Laurie Woerner of Island Lake, Illinois, matron of honor, and Misses Julie and Caren Miller, Marshfield, bridesmaids. They had light blue satin crepe formals. The matron of honor carried two yellow long-stemmed roses; the bridesmaids one each.

Mark Lavey of Granton was best man, Scott Miller, Marshfield, and Bruce Hanson, Alma Center, were groomsmen and Dale Rollins, Chili, and Greg Mahoney, Loyal, ushered.

The wedding dinner and reception were at the knights of Columbus Clubhouse here. After a wedding trip to Orlando, Florida, the Laveys will make Marshfield their home.

The bride, a secretary for Sky Pix Aerial Photography Inc. here, is a 1980 Marshfield Senior High School graduate and attended the University of Wisconsin Center, Marshfield-Wood County, for a year. Her husband, a 1979 Granton High School graduate, attended the local UW campus two years and North Central Technical Institute-Wausau for a semester. He is an employee of Land O'Lakes, Spencer.
