Schuh, Arthur and Anita (11 May 1933-1983)

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur (Anita) Schuh of Route 2, Colby, who were married May 11, 1933 in Colby, observed the golden anniversary of their marriage May 1 at a Mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby, the Very Rev. Raymond J. Pedretti officiating.

A family dinner was served at Old Cedar House, Abbotsford, followed by a reception at the home of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Valgene Fischer, Colby, hosted by their children and grandchildren.

Two of the original attendants present were Leo Bell, Chippewa Falls, and Anthony Schuh, Colby.

The Schuhs have two children, Ambrose Schuh and Mrs. Valgene (Marie) Fischer, both of Colby; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Schuh worked for 27 years for packaging Corporation of America and farmed in the Colby area. They are members of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
