Lautenbach, Ralph (13 September 1922 – 4 January 1979) With Flag

Funeral services were held this past Monday, January 8, from Zion American Lutheran Church, Town of Grant, for Ralph Lautenbach, 56, of Rt.2 Granton. He passed away at his home shortly after noon on January 4.

The deceased was born September13, 1922, in the Town of Beaver to Oscar and Catherine (Seltrecht) Lautenbach. He attended Roder School, married Alene Marg on February 15, 1947, and farmed for all his life near Christie and in the Town of Grant. He was a member of Zion Lutheran, served on the church council and also on the town board. He was a veteran of World War II.

Surviving him is his wife, two sons, Jerold of Sauk City and James of Rhinelander, two daughters, Mrs. Joe (Margorie) Felser of Neillsville and Diane Lautenbach of Wausau, five grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Schultz of Reedsburg and Mrs. Bud (Elaine) Paulson of Forsberg, and three brothers, Dale of West Allis, Donald of Milwaukee and Richard of Hillpoint.

With the Rev. Maynard Stokka officiating, burial was made in the church cemetery. Martin Hillert offered vocal selections, accompanied by Joann Grassman.

Pallbearers were Ronald Schultz, Antone, Michael and David Lautenbach, Kim and Kenny Paulson.
