Boswick, Rebecca (29 December 1978)

James Kavanaugh, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Kavanaugh, now of Brownsville, Texas, and formerly of Greenwood, was married to Rebecca Boswick on December 29, with ceremonies at the First Methodist Church, Rockford, Illinois.

The couple left two days after the ceremony for Germany, where they will reside. The new Mrs. Kavanaugh is a teacher at a U.S. Air Force Base.

Those attending the wedding included his parents, Mrs. Palmer Vinger, the groom’s grandmother; Kay Kavanaugh, the groom’s sister and who is an employee at the U.S. Embassy in Saudi Arabia; and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Thompson, Neillsville.

The Kavanaugh’s spent approximately ten days in the Greenwood area during the wedding.
