The winner of the Betty Crocker Homemaker of Tomorrow for 1972 award at
Abbotsford High School is Christine York, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James York of
Dorchester.
Christine has been a 4-H member for nine years. She has been active in the
following organizations: G.A.A., F.F.A, National Honor Society, A.F.S., the
newspaper, W.J.D.A., Student Senate, Varsity Cheerleader and Forensics.
Her hobbies include horseback riding, snowmobiling, candy making, swimming and
sewing.
Christine’s future plans include attending Hop Cobleskid Agriculture and
Technical School in New York State to earn a degree in Animal Husbandry, with a
Major in Horse Science. She would like to become a veterinarian assistant or
horse trainer.
