Wilczek, Virginia (27 Nov 1976)

Miss Virginia Wilczek, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wilczek of rural Withee, and John Conzemius, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Conzemius, Owen, were united in marriage on Saturday, November 27, 1976 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Thorp. The Rev. John Puerner officiated at the two o’clock wedding.

Maid of honor for the bride was Katie Arneson, Owen, and bridesmaids were Cathy Miller and Fran Carpenter of La Crosse.

Attending the groom as best man was the groom’s brother, Bill Conzemius of Madison, and groomsmen were Robert Conzemius and Jeff Arneson.

Following the wedding, dinner and dance were held at the Quonset Hall near Thorp.

Both of the newlyweds are 1973 graduates of the Owen-Withee High School. The bride is employed by Gunderson Clinic of La Crosse as an X-ray technician, and the groom is employed by Belscott department Store, La Crosse.

Following a wedding trip to San Francisco, California, the newlyweds will be at home at 120 South 9th Street, La Crosse.
