Weiler, Rebecca Jean (12 Oct 1953 – 23 Nov 2020)

Rebecca “Becky” Jean (Hainzlsperger) Weiler, age 67, of Colby had the Gates of Heaven open on Monday, Nov. 23, 2020, as the Angels accompanied her home to our Heavenly Father, after her long and courageous battle with COPD.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Fat Boy’s in Abbotsford from 1 – 5 p.m. Family and friends are welcome to attend.

Becky was born on Monday, Oct. 12, 1953, in Marshfield to Ervin and Mary Hainzlsperger of Unity. She received her education in the Colby schools. Becky was united in marriage to her best friend, Daniel “Danny” Weiler on August 25, 1990.

Her most important thing in her life was her family, raising and loving her children and watching her grandchildren grow. Becky was known to always have an open door policy for everyone. She was a fabulous cook and housekeeper. She was a beloved wife, mother, step-mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and a friend to all of us. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Colby.

Becky is lovingly survived by her husband, Danny; her two boys: Chad (Kristy) Hainzlsperger of Unity and Adam Hainzlsperger of Colby; four step-children: Lisa (Ben) Yahnke of Milan, Terry (Sherria) of Pontotoc, Miss., Jenna (Matt) Kops of Stetsonville and Jeremy Weiler of Elk Mound; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is further survived by mother-in-law, Mary Weiler of Colby; four sisters and two brothers: Stella Phillips (Jim Weigel) of Marshfield, Mary Jane (Bill) Selves of Neillsville, Sue (Dave) Roth of Tomahawk, Ellen (John) Foley of Wisconsin Rapids, Ervin Jr. (Tonya) Hainzlsperger of Shell Lake and Richard (Jan) Hainzlsperger of Unity; four brothers-in-law and four sisters-in-law; two special nieces, Kim and Anita that loved her like a mother, along with all the other nieces, nephews, relatives and many great friends. She is deeply loved and sadly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; one sister, Theresa; and her father-in- law, Elroy.
