On August 29, 1976 ten of the thirteen members of the senior class of 1926 of the Withee High School held their 50 year reunion. Those of the class who attended were Andre Nielsen, Mrs. Katherine (Jensen) Tauger, George Groh, Mrs. Charles Heimerl, Mrs. (Ethel Madsen) Rasmussen, Mrs. Harold (Dagmar Rasmussen) Christensen, Mr. and Mrs. Edward (Julia Thorson) Albert, Milton Krom, and Isabel Martin. Two members of the class have passed away, and one lives in California.

The group met to renew acquaintances at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Christensen in Withee, and to have a 7 p.m. dinner. Later more socializing and reminiscing were held at the Meadow View Club House.

The table were decorated with blue and gold flower centerpieces, blue and gold being the class colors, and also with yellow tapers. Edgar Albert was the M.C. of the gathering, calling on each class member for some brief comment. All enjoyed the reading of a letter, now a resident of Monterey Park, California, who was also a member of the class, but could not attend.

After grace was said, a moment of silence was observed for the two members who are decease.

All had a most enjoyable evening and all enjoyed meeting each other again.
