Wedding vows were exchanged May 1, 1976 in Holy Assumption Orthodox Church, Lublin, by Miss Dorothy Ann Pawlik and Stanley J. Halida Jr.

The Rev. David Black officiated at the reception of marriage vows between the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Pawlik Sr., Town of Ford, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Halida Sr., Town of Maplehurst.

Escorted by her father, the bride appeared in a lace and dotted Swiss gown, a long veil completing her ensemble. She held a bouquet of white carnations, yellow roses and ivy.

Miss Darlene Pawlik, Gilman, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Carol Halida, Lublin, Miss Beverly Hoehn, Jump River, and Miss Marilyn Piwoni, Gilman.

Attending the bridegroom were Terry Pancyrz, best man, and Leonard Cwikla, James Mnichowicz and Raymond Halida, all of Lublin. Guests were seated by Joe Pawlik, Owen and James Penk, Lublin.

The wedding reception and dance were held at the Quonset Hall at Thorp. The newlyweds are making their home in Lublin, following a wedding trip to wester states.

Mr. Halida, a 1971 graduate of Owen-Withee High School, attended Gale Institute, Minneapolis. He works in Medford for Weather Shield Mfg., Inc. His wife, a 1974 graduate of Gilman High School, graduated the following year from Vocational Technical Institute, Eau Claire. She is a claims adjuster for ITT Life Insurance Company.
