Mr. Bruley enjoys a wide acquaintance in the surrounding country, and is interested in other enterprises besides being president of the Bruley Steel Fence Post Co., with office in Neillsville and manufacturing department in Milwaukee. The company manufactures steel fence posts in large quantities, shipping in car lots to all parts of the country.

These fence posts are made of steel, 13/8 inch by 5/8 inch, and in all lengths. The base is made of wrought iron tubing, 24 inches long and with a few strokes of the mallet the base is driven level with the ground, after which the fence post is dropped into the base and no holes have to be dug for this post. Small holes are drilled in the post, through which a specially made wire fastener is inserted, and then passing around the line wires of the fencing and twisted with pliers of the fence can be secured by means of clamps and pliers prepared for that purpose, and as many as ten miles of this fencing can be built by one man as quick as one mile in the ordinary way when post holes have to be dug. These fence post will last a life time, and are being largely used throughout the country, especially in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Texas, California and Southern Dakota and the demand is steadily increasing. Their printed circulars describing these goods are sent to any address upon application to the Neillsville office and mail orders will receive prompt attention.
