Brodt, Nancy (5 March 1977)

Miss Nancy Brodt became the bride of Robert Dudei in a 1:30 p.m. ceremony performed Saturday, March 5, at the United Methodist Church in Fennimore by the Rev. David Fuller. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Brodt of Fennimore and Evelyn Dudei and Hubert Dudei of Rt. 2 Granton. A reception followed in the church parlor.

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride appeared in a gown of silk organza and Venise lace trimmed with seed pearls and styled with long sleeves and an A-line skirt flowing into a chapel train. Complimenting her gown was a fingertip length veil. She carried a cascade arrangement of pink roses and spider mums.

Mrs. Tony Hubes, Livingston, was the matron of honor and Nancy Dudei of Granton and Susan Dudei of Scottsbluff, Nb., were the bridesmaids. Their V-neckline pink polyester crepe gowns were fashioned with soft bodice gathering, short, flared sleeves and long, self-back ties. Pink Fuji mums with white baby’s breath and greens formed their bouquets.

Serving as bestman was Martin Hillert, Greenwood, Paul Bolli, Milwaukee, and Dave Kruser, Hazel Green, acted as groomsmen. Guests were seated by Jim Eid, Winneconne, and Jim Brodt, Fennimore.

Soloist Susan Dudei sang “Wedding Song’ and “The Lord’s Prayer.”

The new Mrs. Dudei received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the UW-Platteville and is employed by the Adams-Friendship Public Schools. Her husband is a student at the UW-Stevens Point. They are living at 841 12th St. North, Wisconsin Rapids, and plan a wedding trip for this summer.
