NEILLSVILLE -- Joseph Bruegl, 99, Route 4, Neillsville, died Sunday at Memorial Hospital.

Graveside services will be Tuesday at Neillsville Cemetery. The Rev. Wally Anderson, of Living Hope Evangelical Free Church will officiate. Visitation at the Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville.

He was born April 7, 1884 in Germany. He came to the United States and received his education in the Medford area. He was employed in Medford until 1927 when he moved to the Neillsville area. He did farm work near Christie for many years, and later worked for Urban Motors until he retired. He made his home with Mattie Hansen for the past 19 years.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister and two brothers.
