Cindy Ann Mitte, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mitte of Manitowoc, and SP4
Jeffrey Elmer Uhlig, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Uhlig of Francis Creek, exchanged
marriage vows Saturday, November 27, at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in
Manitowoc. The Rev. Glenn H. Unke officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony, which was
followed by a reception at Doolan’s Supper Club in Francis Creek.
The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. Clara Mitte and Mrs. Lilly Carl, both of
Neillsville.
Jill Oblinger, Two Rivers, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Judy Mitte of
Manitowoc, Valerie Vincent of Neillsville and Joy Zeman of Menasha.
The groom was attended by SST Maynard Uhlig of Ft. Bragg, N.C.,, as bestman and
by Jeffrey Morley of Two Rivers, Peter Nass of Newtonburg and Gerald Vandermouse
of Manitowoc as groomsmen. Guests were seated by Frank Zeman, Menasha, and Gary
Stone, Two Rivers.
The newlyweds are both 1975 graduates of Manitowoc Lutheran High School. The
bride has been employed in the respiratory therapy department of Holy Family
Hospital in Manitowoc, and her husband is serving with the military police at
Ft. Shafter, Hawaii. They will reside in Honolulu, Hi.
