Kocher, Beatrice Kay (9 October 1976)

Upon returning from a wedding trip to Florida, Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Fox will make their home in Greenwood. The newlyweds, she is the former Beatrice Kay Kocher, were married October 9 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard, in a 1:30 p.m. ceremony performed by the Rev. John Heagle. The Loyal American Legion Hall was the setting later for a reception, supper and dance.

Parents of the couple are Donald and Mary Ann Kocher of Greenwood and John and Verna Fox of Willard.

For her wedding, the bride wore a gown of knit Qiana. The sweetheart neckline, empire waistline and long fitted sleeves were adorned with re-embroidered lace and pearls; the skirt flowed into a chapel length train. On her head, she wore a Camelot style headpiece covered with re-embroidered lace and pearls to match the gown. Her chapel length veil was of sheer bridal illusion. She carried a crescent bouquet of white carnations and daisies with orange sweetheart roses and baby’s breath as she was presented in marriage by her father.

Mrs. Wendy Jacobson, Chippewa Falls, was the matron-of-honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Linda Vollrath of Greenwood, Mrs. Betty Rank of Marshfield, Miss Debbie Lindner of Eau Claire and Miss Mary Jo Djubenski of Willard. Their V-neckline rust colored knit gowns featured bell sleeves and full, tri-tiered skirts. White hats rimmed with brown ribbons accented the gowns. Hand bouquets of butterscotch and yellow daisies, orange statice and white baby’s breath completed their costumes.

The groom was attended by Dave Sowieja, Greenwood, as bestman and by Galen Liebzeit of Greenwood, Ronnie Kocher of Milwaukee, Gene Sowieja of Madison and Randy Fox of Willard as groomsmen. Robert Kocher, Greenwood, and Mike Fox, Willard, served as ushers.

Margie Thomas was the vocalist and Laurie Lesar, the organist,

The new Mrs. Fox graduated from NCTI in 1974 and is employed as a registered nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. Her husband, who attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point for a year, is employed as a carpenter by a construction firm at Willard.
