Strack, Kathy Jo (Marriage – 21 August 1976)

The Loyal United Methodist Church was the setting for the August 21 wedding of Miss Kathy Jo Strack and Robert G. Trimble. Officiating at the 1 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Newell Strack, Loyal, and the son of Mrs. Mary Pohlman, Ashland, was the Rev. Gene Carlson. A reception was held at the Loyal American Legion Hall.

A matching lace headpiece held her mantilla veil trimmed with lace medallions. She carried a bouquet of red and white roses and lilies-of-the-valley as she was presented in marriage by her father.

Mrs. Karen Young, Alma, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Rhonda Oestrich of Loyal and Miss Janice Trimble and Miss Jill Trimble, both of Ashland. White picture hats and bouquets of blue and white rosses harmonized with their blue and white empire-waist gowns.

Serving as bestman was Richard Nowak, Chicago Heights, Il. Groomsmen were Raymond Trimble, Butternut, and Rick Delo and Steve Boushon, both of Loyal. Robert Young, Antigo and Bill Raabe, Illinois, acted as ushers.

Vocalists Sharon Schoonover, Diane Anderegg, and Gordie Denk were accompanied by Jody Schoonover.

The bride graduated from Loyal High School in 1975. Her husband, who attended a Blue Island, Il., school, is employed locally.

The couple will live on Rt. 1 Loyal. They planned a wedding trip to Niagara Falls.
