Freedlund, Harold A. (18 May 1919 – 8 March 1995)

Harold A. Freedlund, 75, Pittsville, died March 8, 1995, at his home.

He was born May 18, 1919, in Rockford, Ill. and had farmed in the Town of Sherwood.

Surviving are his wife, Nettie Freedlund of Pittsville; one son, John B. (Gail) Freedlund of Pittsville; five daughters, Helena G. (William) Morrison of Hogansville, Ky., Sarah L. Freedlund of Stevens Point, Esther E. (David) Becker of Waupun, Mary A. (Tony) Totzke of Pittsville, and Ruth E. (William) Buettner of Stevens Point; one sister, Ellen (Roy) Eberhardt of Cedarburg, three brothers, Donald (Mary Lea) Freedlund, and Morris (Marilyn) Freedlund, all of Rockford, Ill., and Rodney (Carolyn) Freedlund of Laurinburg, N.C. and six grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the new Buchanan Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Town of Sherwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the original Buchanan Funeral Home and after 2 p.m. Saturday at the new funeral home.
