Stumpner, Paul G. Jr. (9 June 1952 – 23 March 2021)

Paul G. Stumpner, Jr., age 68, of Owen, passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Marshfield Medical Center.

Paul was born on June 9, 1952, the son of Paul and Alvira (Wachsmuth) Stumpner in Neillsville. He attended the Colby School District. On September 8, 1984, Paul was united in marriage to Julie Volk in Owen. He worked many different jobs, retiring after 15 years for Lynn Dairy driving the tanker truck.
Paul enjoyed hunting, fishing, antique tractors and watching old westerns. He especially cherished his family, especially his grandchildren.

Paul is survived by his wife, Julie; two sons: Adam (Angie) of Stanley and Alexander of Owen; four grandchildren: Bailey, Brianna, Brayden and Benson. He is further survived by nine brothers and sisters: Kathleen Ryba, Mary Jane Tracy, Barb Soback, Linda (Maurice) Sterken, Lila (Mick) Thayer, Carolyn Smazal, Jenny (Bill) Schuette, Joe Stumpner and Cindy Hayes; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers: Eugene, Dale, Eddie and Kenny Stumpner; a sister: Isabelle Brenner; many brothers-in-law and a grandson, Bentley.

A Visitation will be held at 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 26, 2021 at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen. The Funeral Service will follow at 6:00 p.m. Rev. Nancy Amacher will officiate. Family and friends can watch the service live on the Maurina Schilling Funeral Home Facebook page or after the service anytime on Facebook or the website. We encourage those in attendance to abide by the Covid-19 guidelines by sanitizing, wearing a mask (if able) and social distancing.
