Ehlert, William R. (27 May 1957 – 4 March 2021)

William R. Ehlert, 63 of Bellinger, died, Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Sacred Heart Hospital-Eau Claire.

He was born on May 27, 1957 to the late Howard and Beulah (Launspach) Ehlert. Bill grew up in the area and graduated from Thorp High in 1976. He married Dawn Miller August 15, 1987. Bill was a farmhand, worked for IKE International of Stanley, Thorcraft and later B and B Kitchens. He enjoyed hunting, scrap metal runs, going to train shows with his best friend Alvin and taking his loving wife for
long drives.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn, a son, Abe Ehlert both at home, his daughter, Anna (Kyle Muller) Ehlert of Thorp, and their daughter Arianna, a grandchild on the way, step grandchildren, Elijah, Anissa, Zadie, Aiden and Isaiah, and his siblings, Richard Ehlert of Vesper, Connie (Ed) Gerl of Marshfield, Susan (Dennis) Romanowski of Medford and Nancy Ehlert, Patti (John) Nowobielski and Brian (Michelle) Ehlert all of Thorp as well as many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. on March 10, 2021 at the Gilman Funeral Home with Rev. Tyler Ewer officiating. Burial will follow in the Meadowbrook Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
