Kademan, Edmund (13 May 1886 – 14 Dec 1972)

Colby – Services will be held at Zion Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. Sunday for Edmund Kademan, 86, who died at his home here Thursday. The Rev. David Pankow will officiate and burial will be made in Green Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Lulloff Funeral Home.

Mr. Kademan was born in the town of Green Grove May 13, 1886 and was married October 27, 1915 to Selma Klessig, who survives him.

As a young man his occupation was that of cheesemaker. Later he was employed at the Colby Cheese Box plant in Colby, until it ceased operations.

In addition to his wife he is survived by four sons, Reuben and Julius Kademan, both of Marshfield; Harold Kademan, Garden Grove, California, and Ervin Kademan of Colby; a daughter, Mrs. Delos (Leona0 Kobs of Mount Horeb; 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; a brother, Oscar Kademan, Curtiss, and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Sebold, Sheboygan Falls, and Mrs. Hattie Shay, Eagles Grove, Iowa.

One brother and one sister preceded him in death.
