Wicker, Blandina (9 June 1910 - 21 February 1983)

COLBY -- Mrs. Elmer (Blandina) Wicker, 72, of 101 Main St., Colby, died Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

Services will be Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby. The Rev. Raymond J. Pedretti will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be at the Rux Funeral Home, Colby.

The former Blandina Dahlke was born June 9, 1910, in Edgar, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor (Blandina Karl) Dahlke. She received her education in Edgar area schools. She and Elmer Wicker were married September 1, 1936, in Edgar.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby; a member of its Christian Mothers Society, and St. Regina Group.

Surviving is her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Marvin (Carol) Bandt of Phillips and Mrs. Roman (Donna) Baca of Los Angeles; two sons, Morris and Aaron Wicker, both of Wausau; and seven grandchildren. She was predeceased by three sisters and six brothers.
