Bryda, John I. (24 November 1910 - 28 January 1983)

SPENCER -- John I Bryda, 72, Rhinelander, died Friday at St. Mary's Hospital, Rhinelander.

Services were today at Christ the King Catholic Church. The Rev. Andrew Bofenkamp officiated and burial was in West Spencer Cemetery.

Rux Funeral Home, Spencer, handled arrangements.

He was born November 24, 1910, in Chicago and received his education there. He moved to the Spencer area, where he lived until 1953.

He married Grace Vanderhoof June 28, 1940, at Christ the King Catholic Church, Spencer. She survives along with one son, Robert of Chicago; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Janet) Kamholz of Oak Lawn, Illinois, Darlene and Diane Bryda, both of Minneapolis; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Pekarik of Eugene, Oregon, and Mrs. Roy (Helen) Ball of Springville, Utah.

He was predeceased by his parents, and Mr. and Mrs. Anton Hlavac.
