K, Emil (3 August 1889 - 23 January 1983)

N-- Emil K, 93, Route 1, Fort Atkinson, a former Clark County resident, died Sunday at his home.

He was born August 23, 1889 at Lake Mills, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William (Augusta) Korth. He and Hattie Drescher were married August 27, 1919 at Neillsville. They farmed in Clark County until 1952 when they moved to Canbridge.

He was a veteran of world War I, having served in France and a member of W United Methodist Church, Cambridge.

Surviving are his wife, two sons, Wilbert of Fort Atkinson and Walter of Cambridge; three daughters, Mrs. Harlow (Louise) Henninger of Sheboygan, Mrs. Leonard (Dorothy) Meyer of Elk Mound and Mrs. Dwight (Eileen) Crossman of Lake Mills, a brother and sister, Leo Korth and Mrs. Alice Knoop both of Neillsville; 15 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
