Larson, Frederick “Fred” (24 May 1949 – 7 November 2020)

Frederick “Fred” Larson, 71, of Alma Center, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his family and under the care of St. Croix Hospice.

Fred was born May 24, 1949 in Black River Falls to Carl and Verna (Loasching) Larson. He is a 1967 graduate of Black River Falls High School. He married Patricia Reilly on March 20, 1992 in Black River Falls. Patricia survives.

He is further survived by his children, Brady (Corleen) Larson of Humbird, Joseph (Jenny) Bilski of Neillsville, Rebecca Goldsmith of Hatfield, Alicia (Brian) Arnold of Alma Center, Jerzy T. Bilski of Tacoma, WA; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; brother, James (Donna) Larson of Hixton and a niece and 2 nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, John and Theodore Larson.

Fred worked as the foreman for Northern Christmas Trees for over 40 years retiring in 2011. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. He immensely enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held in the Spring of 2021. Burial will take place at Sechlerville Cemetery.
