Grindle, Mary Elizabeth (7 May 1951 – 28 March 2019)

Mary E. Grindle, 67, of Stanley, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Our Lady of Victory in Stanley. Cremation Society of Wisconsin, Altoona is assisting the family. Online condolences may be left at www.cremationsociety-wi.com.

This was on the Memorial card at her funeral.

Mary Elizabeth Grindle passed away at home on March 28, 2919.

She was born on May 7, 1951 the youngest of seven siblings and the only daughter of the late Fredrick and Lillian (Rose) Roberts. On October 31, 1970 she married Clarence L. Grindle. To this union 2 children were born. John P. and Marsha M. (Grindle) Cornell. The couple made their home south of Stanley where they farmed. Mary enjoyed being on the go and always was willing to give people a lift with a quick joke and was kind hearted beyond measure. She also enjoyed playing cards and visiting.

She is survived by her children, John (Angie) Grindle and Marsha (Todd) Cornell, grandchildren, Todd Cornell, Jr., Jamie (Jenna) Grindle, Brandon (Kristen) Cornell, Fawn Cornell and Cecelia LilliAnn Grindle, great-grandchildren, Todd Cornell, Fred (Carol) Roberts, Jr., Gary (Paula) Grindle, brothers, Ken Roberts, Dave (Anita) Roberts.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brothers Jim and Clyde Roberts.
