Nick, Bruce F. (1 February 1947 – 27 February 2020) With Flag

Bruce F. Nick, 73 of Stanley, died suddenly on Thursday, February 27, 2020.

He was born on February 1, 1947 in Illinois. Bruce was adopted by the late Frank Nick and Harriet Burzynski Nick Steivang. He attended Brownsville grade school and graduated from Stanley High School. He graduated from DeVry University with a technical degree and then went on to serve his country in Berlin Germany. Bruce married Wanda Adkins Daniel Luscher on September 17, 2008 in Beckley, WV. Bruce worked in Chicago at Coca Cola, home construction, Seng Transportation for 25 years, and then for Penske before retiring in 2009. He loved watching the Green Bay Packers and This Old House. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and Sudoku. You could also find him at Ho-Chunk Casino on his favorite machine. He spent his retirement helping with Trinity Vineyard Church’s food pantry.

Bruce is survived by his wife Wanda of Stanley, his step-children Stella (Kurt) Ness of Markesan, Andrea (Jes) Greschner of Neenah, Denise (Aaron) Walmsley of Racine, and Denny Luscher of Marshfield, his step-grandchildren, Jacque (Harry) Poku, Chrissie (Jesse) Johnsen, Natasha (Jordan Bowe) Schneider, Zack (Megan) Neuber, Brooke, Ben, and Braeden Neuber, Josiah Aaden, Hannah, and Adelynn Walmsley; step-great-grandchildren Malaki Poku, Maddie Johnsen, Lonnie Landaal, Oakley Johnsen, and Kayden Haviland.

A Funeral Service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Monday March 2, 2020 at Trinity Vineyard Church-Stanley with burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Plombon Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
