Along about 1920, the farmers in the Willard area formed a cooperative feed store to supply feed and mostly flour. Cornmeal and especially "Fairchild Buckwheat" flour was very popular. This was milled in Fairchild, Wisconsin. This Co-op was in existence for about five years. It was located just south of the East Side Hall. It deteriorated and fell down many years ago.
