Withee _ Services will be Friday at Maurina Funeral Home, Owen, for Miss Virginia Hamel, 60, West Allis, who died Thursday at Wildwood Hospital, Wildwood, Georgia.

The Rev. Donald Giarrusso of Seventh-day Adventist Church, Arpin, will officiate and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Withee.

Miss Hamel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Courtland (Anna) Hamel. Withee, was born in the town of Maplehurst, Taylor County.

She attended Withee High School and Medford Normal School, receiving a degree in teaching, When she went to West Allis she taught sixth grade in Milwaukee. She later received a master's degree in education.

Surviving besides her parents are four brothers, Leon of Lafayette, Indiana, Lloyd of Withee, Warren of Watertown and Donald of Wood Dale, Illinois; and one sisters, Mrs. Harland (Verle) Brown, Monticello, Utah.

She was predeceased by another sister, Mrs. Violet Hendrickson.
