Courtesy Auto Raises $$$ (Drive One 4UR School Event - 2015)

Participants in the For Drive One 4UR School.

Helping supplement additional funds, a group of Booster Club members held a bake sale at the tent site.

Members of the Owen-Withee community came out in numbers on Friday, September 25, to help Courtesy Auto and Truck Center of Thorp raise up to $6,000 for the Owen-Withee Athletic Booster Club through the Ford Drive One 4UR School fundraising event.

As patrons flooded the tent, signing up and taking a test-drive in one of Fords many vehicle models, the expert salesmen from Courtesy answered questions about the vehicles and helped get every volunteer registered. With 325 people coming out to do their part—earning $20 per test drive—the Owen-Withee Athletic Booster Club managed to reach their $6,000 maximum goal within just a few short hours. Since 2011, Courtesy Auto and Truck Center of Thorp has helped communities, schools, and local organizations raise thousands of dollars within just one afternoon. The event held for Owen-Withee’s Athletic Booster Club is the tenth “Drive One” event that the local car dealership has hosted—helping raise almost $60,000 in funds that stay local.
