Friday night, April 4, was a big night for area FFA and FFA Alumni members—gathering for the 74th Annual FFA Banquet at the Thorp high School. Hosted by the FFA Officers, the local chapter welcomed the room full of FFA Alumni members, current Middle and High School members, and friends and family before sitting down to a delicious dinner.

Ed Hamel of the Alumni presented Dick and Sharon Hughes with the Farmer of the Year award—honoring t hem for their combined years’ worth of experience working on farms, whether they were others’ or their own.
