Guralski, Alice J. (10 AUG 1939 – 20 JUL 2020)

Alice J. Guralski, age 80, of Abbotsford, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020, at the Marshfield Medical Center.

A private family graveside service will be held at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Milan. Father George Graham will preside.

Alice was born on Aug. 10, 1939, the daughter of Frank and Edna (Assmann) Proft at their home in Marathon County. She attended Corinth County School in the town of Johnson and graduated from Athens High School. On June 3, 1961, Alice was united in marriage to Robert Guralski at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Athens. Together they farmed in the town of Johnson.

Alice was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing cards, crossword puzzles, Yahtzee, drawing, baking and writing poems. Most importantly, Alice cherished her family.

Alice is survived by her husband of 59 years, Robert of Abbotsford; three children: Mary Lynn Martyn of Colby, Samuel (Judy) Guralski of Wisconsin Rapids and Timothy Guralski of Athens; six grandchildren: Rory (Emily) Martyn, Max Martyn, Josh Guralski, Kyle Guralski, Jason Haumschild and Jessica Stoflet; and eight greatgrandchildren: Abbie, Colin, Jacob, Penny, Morgan, Dane, James and Miles. She is further survived by her brother, Thomas (Mary Jane) Proft of Germantown; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: James, Robert and Ronald Proft; and a son-in-law, Michael Martyn.
