Fitzmaurice, Anna G. (12 September 1895 - 29 August 1981)

NEILLSVILLE - Mrs. Anna G. Fitzmaurice, 85, of Memorial Home, died there Saturday. Services will be Wednesday at Gesche Funeral Home. The Rev. Joseph N. Hensler, pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Church, will officiate and burial will be in the town of Mentor Cemetery near Humbird.

Mrs. Fitzmaurice was born September 12, 1895 in the Menomonee area to Jacob and Anna (Simpson) Steies and received her education there. She was married to John D. Fitzmaurice October 17, 1915 and they moved to Humbird where they farmed. They also lived in the village for many years.

After the death of her husband August 20 1965, she remained in Humbird for about two years and then became a resident of Memorial Home.

Survivors include four sons, David of Avalon, Jake and James, both of Neillsville and Philip (Rusty) of Humbird; three brothers, Frank of Fall Creek, Ralph of St. Paul, Minnesota and William of Rockford, North Dakota; 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildre.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by two sons, one brother and three sisters.
