Sharon was born on May 2, 1946, to Harold and Mary (Trachte) Schiller. She
attended Pittsville High School and eventually moved to Sparta. While working
for Deko, a chance encounter at a local bar, turned out to be the love of her
life. Sharon was united in marriage to Glenn Brueggeman at St. Mary’s in Caston,
on September 18, 1971. They settled down in Norwalk, and both worked at Meissner
Farm in Chili. They decided to move back to Pittsville and Sharon started work
at Figi’s. Shortly after adopting their daughter, Nikki, Sharon started as a
cook for Little Bear Café in Pittsville.
Finally finding her calling; Sharon outlasted several owners at the Café in
Pittsville until her initial retirement and move to Marshfield. Sharon cared for
her sister, Darlene, until her passing and then continued her passion of cooking
at the Eagles in Marshfield. She finally fully retired to spend time with her
grandchildren.
Sharon is lovingly survived by her husband: Glenn Brueggeman of Marshfield; her
daughter Nikki (Resse) Smith and grandchildren; Brock & Bruce Smith of
Marshfield. Brothers: Russ (Bev) Schiller, and Mel Schiller, all of Pittsville.
She is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She will be greatly
missed by all who knew her.
She was predeceased in death by her parents; brothers, Dale and Elwood; Sister
Darleen and Sister-in-laws, Helen (Brueggeman), Hazel and Mary Schiller.
