Neumeister, Harold J. (28 FEB 1903 – 12 OCT 1965)

Funeral services for Harold John Neumeister, Milwaukee, a native of Colby, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 15, 1965 at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby. The body will lie in state at the funeral home from Thursday noon until the time of services. The Rev. Ambrose Blenker will officiate, and burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

Mr. Neumeister died Tuesday afternoon, October 12, 1965 at his place of business in Milwaukee. He was 62 years old.

Harold J. Neumeister was born in Colby February 28, 1903. He received his education in Colby High School. Following his graduation, he went to Milwaukee, where he worked as a tool and die maker. He operated an auto finishing shop in Milwaukee for a number of years, and for the past 30 years has operated a parking lot in downtown Milwaukee. He was never married.

Survivors include one brother, Herman Neumeister, Colby, and two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Sorebo of Mankato, Minnesota, and Mrs. Adaline Imhoff, Colby. He was preceded in death by three sisters.

Burial services for Harold John Neumeister were held at the Lulloff Funeral Home Friday, October 15, 1965, with the Rev. Ambrose Blenker officiating.

Interment was made in the family lot at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Colby.

Pallbearers were Francis Steinwand and five nephews of the decease, John, Thomas, Gilbert, and Edwin Sorebo, and James Hansen.

Out of town relatives present were Albert Hansen and son, James, of Faribault, Minnesota, Nellie Sorebo and sons, John and Thomas, Mankato, Minnesota, Gilbert of Eau Claire, and Edwin of Hopkins, Minnesota.
