Mr. and Mrs. Archie Melvin drove to Oshkosh Friday afternoon to get their son,
Donald, who attends the state university there. Accompanying them here were Miss
Mary Lu Hopperdietzel of Abbotsford, Miss Mary Vorland of Colby, and Herb
Mathwick of Stanley, also students there. After spending the weekend t their
homes, they returned in the evening with Mr. and Mrs. Donald Umlauft and son, of
route 1, Menasha, who were at the Archie Melvin home for a few days.
Harley Hoff of San Mateo, California spent the weekend with his mother, Mrs.
Martha Hoff. Mr. Hoff is spending this week in Wausau at the convention of the
Employers Mutual Insurance Company.
Mr. and Mrs. Duane Umlauft and son, Darin Frank, of route 1, Menasha, came
Wednesday afternoon and were at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Archie
Melvin, until Sunday evening. They also visited other relatives in the area.
Mrs. Ralph Gaetz, Nancy, Cindy, Steven, and Sharon, visited at the home of Mrs.
Gladys Brown Friday afternoon, and were supper guests.
