The new Mr. and Mrs. Emil Magedanz are making their home at route 2, Loyal, where Mr. Magedanz is engaged in farming.

The wedding of Miss Doreen Evelyn Guillaume, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Guillaume of Abbotsford, and Emil Paul Magedanz of route 2, Loyal, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Herman Magedanz, took place Saturday, September 25, 1965 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer.

Dahlias and asters adorned the altar, before which the nuptial service was read by the Rev. Daniel L. Ahrens at 1:30 o’clock. Mrs. Duane Neuman of route 1, Unity, sang “The Wedding Prayer” and “O Perfect Love,” and Mrs. Arnold Bruesewitz was the organist and accompanist.

For her wedding, the bride chose a floor length dress of nylon lace over taffeta with pearl and sequin trim. The coronet which secured her silk tulle veil was also trimmed with pearls. She carried a colonial bouquet centered with an orchid and surrounded by pink roses and lily of the valley.

Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Pukis of Marshfield were honor attendants, and Mrs. And Mrs. Louis Grottke of Chili completed the wedding party.

The bride’s attendants wore cotillion blue silk organza street length dresses and carried pink and white gardenias.

Festivities oof the wedding day included a reception and supper at the Eagles Hall at Marshfield and a wedding dance at the American Legion Hall in Neillsville.

The bride is a 1964 graduate of the Dor-Abby High School and her husband received his education at Loyal.

Guests at the wedding were from Abbotsford, Loyal, Granton, Greenwood, Neillsville, Chili, Spencer, Marshfield, Shawano, Wausau, Sun Prairie, Cudahy and Milwaukee.
