Kugel, Mr. / Mrs. Ernest (Silver – 24 AUG 1965)

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Kugel of Milwaukee observed their 25th anniversary of the marriage at Colby Saturday, August 21, 1965)

Relatives and friends from Milwaukee, Madison, Greenwood, Jim Falls, Owen, Abbotsford, Colby and Des Plaines, Illinois were with them at the mass at Colby St. Mary’s Catholic Church in the morning, and at the afternoon and evening reception and buffet supper at the City Hall at Colby.

The former Marjorie Orth, daughter of Mrs. Anna Orth of Abbotsford and the late George Orth, and Ernest Kugel, son of Mrs. John Kugel, route 1, Colby, and the late Mr. Kugel, were married at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Abbotsford, August 24, 1940. They made their home in Milwaukee all of their married life.

They have three children, Joseph, Sister Mary Ernestine (Cheryl) of the Sorrowful Mother’s Order, and Mrs. Ronald (Nancy) Smith, and one grandchild, Susan Smith. All were present at the celebration except Mrs. Smith.
