Marriage vows were exchanged Saturday, July 31, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal, by Miss Paula Luchterhand and Duane Brey. The Rev. E.T. Keller officiated at the 1 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Luchterhand, Rt. 2 Spencer, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Brey, Rt. 2, Pittsville.

Presented in marriage by her parents, the bride appeared in an empire-bodice organza gown detailed with venise lace and fashioned with a sheer yoke, lantern sleeves, flounced hemline and chapel train. The gown was complimented by an elbow-length lace veil. Colored carnations, white roses and baby’s breath formed the bridal bouquet.

Renee Luchterhand, Spencer, was the bride’s honor attendant. Acting as bridesmaids were Debbie Pockrandt of Loyal, Sue Arbelovsky of Kenai, Ak., Mrs. Julie Miltamore of Plainfield and Mrs. Beth Sherwood of Eau Claire. They wore empire-waist, square-neckline gowns of rainbow-hued dotted Swiss and carried bouquets of colored carnations and white daisies with baby’s breath.

The groom was attended by Darrell Brey as bestman and by Gary Luchterhand of Loyal, Gary Florence of Pittsville, Russ Miltamore of Plainfield and Gary Sherwood of Eau Claire as groomsmen. Guests were seated by Chuck Schmidtke and Gary Brey.
