Berger, Rebecca Lea (Marriage - 31 July 1976)

Miss Rebecca Lea Berger became the bride of Mark Allen Lange in a 2 p.m. ceremony performed Saturday, July 31, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Neillsville. Robert Dominique of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Menomonie, officiated.

The bride, presented in marriage by her father, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Berger of Rt. 2 Neillsville. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Lange, Rt. 1 Ridgeland, are the groom’s parents.

An old-fashioned bouquet of white daisy-mums, baby’s breath and miniature blue carnations accented the bride’s empire-waist gown of ivory voile styled with a V-neckline, full, sheer, long sleeves with insertion lace and a hemline ruffle.

Her attendants’ identically-styled gowns were in shades of lemon yellow and apple green, with white hats and matching ribbons. Dianne Lee Moore, Bloomer, honor attendant, and Connie Betley, Conrath, bridesmaid, carried white wicker fireside baskets with yellow daisy-mums, green carnations and baby’s breath.

Rick Allen Littlefield, Bloomer, served as bestman and Terry Allen Berger, as groomsman. Bryon Berger and Mike Pressel, Eau Claire, seated guests.

A reception at the American Legion Hall followed the ceremony.

The new Mrs. Lange attended Neisllsville High School. Her husband attended Colfax Senior High School and the Eau Claire Technical Institute. He is engaged in dairy farming. The couple will live on Rt. 1 Ridgeland.
