Driscoll, Cornelius L. (3 August 1915 - 24 June 1981)

OWEN -- Cornelius L. Driscoll, 65, Route 2, Owen, died Wednesday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. He had been admitted June 6.

Services will be Saturday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. The Rev. Richard Fliss officiate. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Withee. Friends may call at Maurina Funeral Home.

Mr. Driscoll was born August 3, 1915 at Nashua, Iowa. He attended Owen High School.

He married Mary Ann Fefcik Zuperku and they farmed in the town of Green Grove. He worked as a cattle trucker since 1966.

He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Holy Name Society, and the Queen of Peace Council No. 4633.

He is survived by his wife; one son, Loren Driscoll of Owen; one daughter, Miss Bonnie Driscoll of Owen; two stepsons, Dr. Edward J. Zuperku of Wauwatosa and James Zuperku of Sublette, Kansas; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Donald (Janice) Weideman of Convoy, Ohio; his mother, Mrs. Nellie Driscoll of Owen; one brother, Harold Driscoll of Chicago; four sisters, Mrs. Steve (Dorothy) Tomich of Melrose Park, Illinois, Mrs. John (Margaret) Sample of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, Mrs. Donald (Eleanor) LaValle of St. Paul, Minnesota and Mrs. William (Isabelle) Grogan of Stillwater, Minnesota; and seven step-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his father, Timothy.
