Brown, Gladys Mae (7 July 1890 - 1 May 1981)
ABBOTSFOSRD - Mrs. Gladys Mae Brown, 90, Route 1, died Friday at Colonial House
of Colby.
The funeral will be Tuesday at Maurine Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert L. Everhard
of First Presbyterian Church is to officiate. Abbotsford Public Cemetery will be
the burial site.
The former Gladys Mae Moore was born July 7, 1890 in the town of Hull to Mr. and
Mrs. Obed Moore Sr. She and Charley L. Brown were married January 1, 1906 by the
Rev. Charles P. Andrews in Abbotsford. The couple farmed in the town of Hull.
Surviving are one son, Richard M. of Abbotsford; six grandchildren; three
great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Her husband died in
1964 and a daughter, Mrs. William (Myrtle) Gaetz, died May 7, 1971.
Mrs. Brown and her husband observed their 55th wedding anniversary in 1961.
