Matkovich, Beulah E. (18 June 1921 – 22 May 2020)

Beulah E. Matkovich, age 98, of Willard, died at Neillsville Care & Rehab on Friday, May 22, 2020. A graveside service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery, in Willard, with Rev. Leo Johnson officiating.

Beulah E. Dill was born on June 18, 1921 in Greenwood, to Julius and Lydia (Kuester) Dill. She was raised on the family farm and received her education in the Greenwood area. Beulah was united in marriage to Louis L. Matkovich on May 4, 1939 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard. They moved to a farm south of Willard, where they raised their family and farmed until retiring. The farm is now owned by her grandson Kelly (Jill) Kirn. Her husband, Louis, preceded her in death on March 6, 1987. She continued to live on the farm until moving to Neillsville Care & Rehab in October 2014.

She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Holy Family C.C.W. and the Willard Homemakers.
Beulah had many interests, but especially loved spending time with her family, cooking, baking, gardening, and going to the casino.

She is survived by one daughter: Donna (Donald) Kirn of Willard, one son: Nick (Bonnie) Matkovich of Owen; 3 grandsons: Kelly (Jill) Kirn of Willard, Kerry Kirn of Willard, Tracy (Rondi) Matkovich of Owen; 2 great-grandsons: Dillon and Dalton Matkovich; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Beulah was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Louis; 3 sisters: Alberta Thomas, Anita Abel and Julia Mitte; and 6 brothers: Gilbert, Mike, Henry, Norbert, Harvey and Leo Dill.
