Flynn, Alice M. (13 December 1889-7 April 1981)

NEILLSVILLE-- Mrs. Arthur F. (Alice M.) 91, of 224 Ayers St. died early Tuesday at Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be at Gesche Funeral Home. The Rev. Gary L. Clark of United Church of Christ is to officiate. Burial will be in Neillsville Cemetery.

Mrs. Flynn was born here December 13, 1889 to Henry and Marie (Hintz) Neverman. She attended Neillsville schools and Northwestern Business School. She worked as a stenographer and deputy clerk of court before marriage.

Her marriage to Mr. Flynn took place October 18, 1916 at her parents' home here. The couple lived in Sioux Fall, South Dakota, seven years before returning to Neillsville. She taught in area schools several years and was a member of United Church of Christ and Carmi Chapter No. 60, Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are two sons, Thomas A. Flynn of Neillsville, and John H. Flynn of Maryborough, Australia; seven grand children; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Her husband died March 30, 1968. Ten brothers and sisters are deceased.
